The 2nd Annual KEDO Nations Cup will feature an extra point system, called KEDO Points (KPs). This point system has been thoughtfully crafted to drive the mission of the tournament, which is to fundraise AND reward teams with fundraising success. We aim to inspire our tournament participants to be winners on and off the field! Every team has the ability to be rewarded additonal points to their group stage total, based on their efforts. The team who raises the most funds will receive FREE admission to the 2026 tournament!

Does every team need to participate in the fundraising competition?
Choosing to participate in this tournament means their is a mutual understanding that this event is bigger than a normal tournament. This event has been created to impact the lives of people in Sinoe County, Liberia. These Liberians look toward soccer as a sport that brings about joy, hope and community!
We are seeking teams who want to be champions in every way and show the Liberians what we can accomplish through this beautiful sport of soccer.
This point system has been established to reward the off field wins and influence on field success.
When does the fundraising campaign begin and end for teams?
The fundraising campaign will start two (2) months from the start of the tournament weekend - Monday, June 2nd.
It will end once the final game of the group stage is played. Points will be added to each team’s total which can solidify anyone as a top seed or potentially have a team get knocked out of playoff contention!
How is this all being tracked?
Each team will have their own fundraising page created by KEDO for Hope. Once the page is established, it can be shared with friends, families and/or sponsors.
All teams will be able to see a main dashboard, which will show the leaderboard of the fundraising competition.
What happens to the team the fundraises the most?
The leading fundraising team by the time all group stage games are complete, will be crowned KEDO Nations Cup Donor Champion AND AWADRED FREE Admission into the 2026 tournament.
If there is a tie for the fundraising portion of the tournament, we will go through a tie-breaker scenario.
What happens if your team fundraises more than $1,000?
The point system is set to reward a maximum of 3 points to a team’s total. It is possible for multiple teams to raise up to and more than $1,000. In the event that happens, the donor champion and benefit of the 2026 free tournament admission will go to the leading team.
